Cheetah kill
The cheetah is the fastest animal on land. Although it reaches 60mph, it can only maintain this speed for about 400m. Unlike the other big cats, the cheetah will only eat what it has killed itself. The cheetah is also the smallest of the 3 big cats
Hyena taking a dip
The hyena has the strongest jaws of all the animals. The hyena "steals" most of it's food, although they are good hunters themselves. Hyena are hated by all predators especially lion.
Elephants
The biggest land mammal. A cow will carry her baby for 22 months. Females will stay with their mothers for the rest of their lifes. Males will be kicked out after a few years, to join with other males in a "Bachelor" group. All the females are dependant on the dominant female, as she knows where the waterholes are.
